You asked for more W.E.E.B events in Helsinki — and we heard you loud and clear. Welcome to our newest domain: BAR TYPO. This lovely alternative bar is located right in the heart of Helsinki in Tekstin Talo, directly opposite the legendary 6.linja party complex.

To make the most of this unique venue, we’re trying something never before seen in W.E.E.B's history: our two event concepts, LOUNGE and CLUB, are coming together under one roof for one unforgettable summer evening. 

In the front room, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of LOUNGE with anime music, city pop, lofi, chill J-pop, and smooth J-house vibes. Meanwhile, the back room belongs to CLUB, bringing high-energy sounds from Touhou arrangements, EDM, eurobeat, J-trance, and techcore.

To make this crossover concept even more special, many of our DJs will be performing two different sets during the evening — one focused on the chill and atmospheric LOUNGE vibes, and another bringing dance energy to the CLUB side of the venue. This means you’ll get to experience completely different musical sides of your favorite Neonya!! artists throughout the event.

BAR TYPO also features a lovely terrace where you can relax with friends, enjoy the summer evening, and sip on our anime-themed drinks. Whether you’re recharging from the club energy or just vibing with the lounge atmosphere, the terrace is the perfect place to spend the night together with fellow W.E.E.Bs. 

Headlining the evening is one of the hottest boy bands in the Finnish anikura scene - HotAnimeBoyz. They will be performing live Finnish arrangements of iconic anime songs. Joining them is the most oldest but goldest DJ of them all, Weeaboomer, with a nostalgia-filled set packed with classic anime openings from years gone by.

We’re also excited to welcome a new face to Neonya!! parties: DJ Cubus from Club Kuri fame. Eurobeat energy and J-pop/J-house vibes will be delivered by Nanannchi, and at the end of the evening we will hear a long-awaited techcore set from DJ TWIST. To complete the roster we are joined by Neonya!! regulars Aversal, DJ Yukata, and DJ Kehveli.

And when you feel the urge to sing your heart out, our lounge specialty — Anime Karaoke — will be open all night. Just head over to the Anime Karaoke Room and grab a mic!
